Junior high athletes battle for SPAA badminton banners

Junior high athletes from across the SPAA region took to courts set up at several schools throughout St. Paul on April 23. 

ST. PAUL - Junior high athletes from across the St. Paul Athletics Association (SPAA) region took to courts set up at several schools throughout St. Paul on April 23. 

Whether it was singles, doubles, or mixed doubles, athletes put their best foot forward and took part in several games, leading to playoffs and then medals. 

Championship banners were also awarded.

Racette Jr. High School ended up winning all three championship banners - girls, boys, and mixed.

FG Miller won the aggregate girls' banner, École du Sommet won the aggregate boys' banner and New Myrnam won the aggregate mixed banner.
