Up to 10 cm of snow in the forecast for Lac La Biche and Cold Lake areas

LAKELAND - While spring has officially arrived, there may still be some snow in the forecast for parts of northeastern Alberta.

According to Environment Canada, the Lac La Biche and Cold Lake areas may see up to 10 cm of snow on Wednesday. 

The snow could start to fall on Tuesday, with a 30 per cent chance of flurries early in the afternoon in the Lac La Biche region.

On Wednesday, Environment Canada says between five and 10 cm of snow could fall. The temperature is also expected to drop to a low of -17C with the windchill in the morning.

No weather alerts are in effect, according to Environment Canada.
