Plans for the Lac La Biche downtown Christmas Parade and the nominations for Lac La Biche County's junior citizen of the year are Dashing and Prancing along. And it will be Santa's first main visit of the year with the rest of his reindeer gang.
On Friday, December 13, downtown La Biche will play host to the annual Santa's Parade , featuring a night-time lightup of vehicles and walking groups from local businesses and organizations.
As part of this annual event the organizing committee seeks out nominees and selects one youth recipient who has contributed above and beyond to our community through community service.
The youth is recognized at the end of the Santa's Parade and is presented with the Junior Citizen of the Year Award. Deadline for applications is Dec. 2 at midnight.
