My name is Kevin Penny. I'm a 22-year-old journalism graduate from Edmonton, and have recently got my chance to do what I love for a living: writing stories and taking photos. Like many others in my generation, I still haven't decided what my purpose in life should be. But I figure if I keep chasing what I enjoy doing, then I'll find it eventually.

I'm a simple man when it comes to life. I enjoy a good book, classical music, and a nice home-cooked meal. As an avid urban explorer, I'll go from the tallest building to the depths of the sewers in order to capture the essence of a city. I've always felt that I was born in the wrong generation, as I have an unnatural fondness for fedora hats and double-breasted suits. And despite what some people may say, bow ties are the greatest thing ever to happen to black-tie events.

Born and raised in Alberta, I've always found my roots in the small outreaches of this prairie province. I'm grateful for the chance to be a part of the Lac La Biche community, and I hope to make an impact with my stories. If anyone would like to chat with me, don't hesitate to ask.
